Discount Codes on Trainline

These are provided directly by train carriers and can be used on Trainline.

We currently accept the following carrier discount vouchers:

• Verano Joven
• iryo
• Trenitalia
• Italo
• G30
• SNCF Bon Voyage

How to use a carrier discount code

On the website:

1. Go to the homepage.
2. Click “Add a voucher code” before searching for your journey.
3. Enter your code.
4. Search for your journey and continue with your booking.

On the app:

1. Go to the homepage.
2. Tap “Add discount and loyalty card.”
3. Enter your voucher code.
4. Search for your journey and proceed with your booking.

Carrier discount codes must be added before searching for your journey.

How to use a Trainline discount code

1. Search for your journey and select your tickets.
2. Go to the payment page.
3. In the app, tap “Trainline discount”.
4. Select “Add a discount code.”
5. Enter your Discount Codes and apply it before completing your payment.

If your discount code isn’t working, the error message displayed will explain the reason. Common issues include:

• You did not access the booking through the promotional link (if one was provided).
• The booking does not meet the criteria outlined in the promotional email.
• The minimum spend requirement has not been reached.
• The discount code has expired.
• The discount code has already been used.
• The booking is not made in the correct currency.
• You do not have a registered Trainline account.
