If your train was delayed by 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the train company, you may be able to claim Delay Repay.
We’ll track your journey and let you know if you’re eligible. After your trip, we’ll send you a push notification or email with a link to the train operator’s website, where you can submit your claim.
You can also claim directly by following the instructions below.

How to Claim Compensation

Find your train company
Choose the train company you travelled with from the list below. If you’re not sure who this is, check your confirmation email, My bookings on our website, or My tickets in the app. -
Have your details ready
You may need:- A scan, photo or screenshot of your ticket, including the barcode if you travelled with an eticket
- Your booking reference, journey details and the price paid
You’ll find this information in your confirmation email, eticket receipt, or My tickets in the app.

Go to their compensation page
Select the link for your train company. You’ll be taken to their delay compensation page, where you can submit your claim.

Why you might not get compensation
If your delay was because of a planned disruption, or an emergency timetable being used, then compensation’s not on the cards unfortunately. You might not be paid compensation for delays caused by things outside of the rail industry’s control either.
