There are plenty of ways you can get your hands on your tickets but it all depends on which Train Operator you are travelling with
All trains in UK
- etickets (free) -We’ll email you your tickets as a PDF attachment, which you can either show on your phone, download to our app, or print out as a paper ticket.
- Mobile Tickets (free) - Mobile Tickets will be available instantly in our app. You’ll need to activate them before travelling.
- Self-service ticket machine (free) - You’ll be able to collect your ticket from any one of the 1,700 machines in the UK 15 minutes after booking.
- Second Class post (£2.50) -Your tickets will be sent out within 24 hours. This option’s only available if your travel date is at least seven days after your booking date.
- Next Day Delivery (£7.50) - Book before 15:00 and you’ll get your tickets by 13:00 the next working day, except bank holidays and public holidays. If you book on the weekend, you’ll get your tickets by Tuesday. Some postcodes have restrictions.

Ceské dráhy (CD) - Czech Republic
For Ceské dráhy (CD) reservations, you will receive a print-at-home eticket.

Eurostar - UK and France
For Eurostar reservations, we provide either print-at-home etickets or print-at-station tickets.

- You can print them yourself on A4/Letter sized paper
- Present the tickets’ barcode using our Android or iOS apps
- Print it from a SNCF self-service terminal. At the terminal, go to the ‘e-billet’ section and then choose ‘print confirmations and memos’ and enter your 6-character booking reference. You can find it in your confirmation email or in the tickets section of your account
- If you have added a loyalty/frequent traveller card to your profile, then you have nothing to print. The eticket is saved onto your card which you will need to be present upon inspection.
Print-at-station tickets:
- Print them from a Eurostar (UK departures) or SNCF (France departures) self-service terminal using your booking reference e.g. QVTLXN/SMITH. You can find it in your confirmation email or in the tickets section of your account
- Print them from a Eurostar self-service ticket terminal using your Eurostar loyalty card
- Retrieve them from a Eurostar (UK departures), Railtours (Brussels departures) or SNCF (France departures) ticket office at a station using your booking reference and name
NS and NS International - Netherlands
For NS reservations, you will receive a print-at-home eticket.

Renfe - Spain
For Renfe reservations, you will receive a print-at-home eticket.

TGV Lyria - France and Switzerland

Thalys - France and Belgium
For Thalys reservations, you will either receive a print-at-home eticket (sent to you by Thalys) or a print-at-station ticket.

- Display the tickets’ barcode (which is attached to the confirmation email sent to you by Thalys) on your smartphone or tablet
- If you have a Thalys TheCard then you won’t need to print anything. Simply display your TheCard upon inspection on board.
Print-at-station ticket:
- You can use a SNCF self-service terminal, by entering your booking reference e.g. QVTLXN/SMITH. You can find it in your confirmation email or in the tickets section of your account.
Important: Stations outside of France are not equipped with SNCF terminals, so you will only be able to print these tickets from a train station located within France. We will warn you before purchase if this is the case.
I did not receive my Thalys confirmation email or eticket
Sometimes the confirmation email, which also acts as your eticket, is re-directed to your spam box or some email providers block the email altogether. No worries, there is a solution.
Go to Thalys' website and click "My tickets" at the top right of the page. You will be asked for your PNR/Reservation code (the 6-letter reference provided to you after purchase) and a passenger's last name. Enter these details and you will be able to download your etickets or re-send them to your email address yourself.
Trenitalia - Italy
For Trenitalia reservations, you will receive a print-at-home eticket.

Italo - Italy
For Italo reservations, you will receive a print-at-home eticket.
