Industrial action is taking place across the ScotRail network every Sunday until 13 June.


Trains will run only on the routes as listed below:

  • Glasgow Central - Ayr  (09:00 and every hour until 19:00)
  • Ayr - Glasgow Central  (08:45 and every hour until 19:45)
  • Glasgow Central - Largs  (09:40 and every hour until 19:40)
  • Largs - Glasgow Central  (09:54 and every hour until 19:54)
  • Glasgow Central - Wemyss Bay  (08:50 and every hour until 18:50)
  • Wemyss Bay - Glasgow Central  (reduced service from 08:50, last train at 18:55)
  • Glasgow Central - Gourock  (09:20 and then every hour until 19:21)
  • Gourock - Glasgow Central  (09:23 and hourly until 19:23)
  • Helensburgh Central - Airdrie  (reduced service from 08:55 until 18:55)
  • Airdrie - Helensburgh Central  (reduced service from 09:30 until 19:28)
  • Balloch - Airdrie  (reduced service from 09:29 until 19:28)
  • Airdrie - Balloch  (reduced service from 08:57 until 18:59)

 


Advice for key workers:

For key workers, there will be limited bus services for University Hospital Hairmyres, Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline, University Hospital Wishaw and Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy.


Check before you travel:

The Journey Planner has not yet been updated with the revised timetable for strike days from Sunday 30 May onwards. Please check back closer to the time of travel.


Essential travel advice:

If your journey is affected on Sundays, you can use your ticket to travel instead on the day before or after. 


Refunds:

If you would prefer not to travel then a full refund is available without an admin fee.

  • If your train is cancelled, then full refunds will become available on the date you intended to travel. You should claim a refund via your  online trainline account and see £0 for the admin fee.
  • If your train is not cancelled but you decide not to travel then please complete this online refund request form.
