Our famously unpredictable weather often changes with little notice which can sometimes lead to last minute amendments and cancellations to ferry services.

Before heading to the port, we'd recommend checking the Irish Ferries Sailing Updates page for information on changes and cancellations.

If your ferry is cancelled:

If you no longer wish to travel contact our to arrange a refund.

If still need to travel you have the following options:
  • Get the next Irish Ferries sailing - you can take the next boat if it’s operated by Irish Ferries. You don’t need to get a new ticket, simply use the one you already have.
  • Transfer to an alternative ferry operator - you may be able to transfer to a ferry operated by a different company. Go to the rail tickets desk at the terminal for advice on switching your ticket.

If you miss your connecting train you will be able to travel on the next train service provided by the Train Operating Company you were originally booked on to (as long as the entire journey is booked under 1 ticket). Speak to a member of staff on the train or at the station and they can help you get your journey back on track.
